Vessel Operations
When people imagine the seafood industry they imagine fishing boats. Fishing boats, or vessels as they are known, are the mainstay of the Vessel Operations sector which focuses on harvesting wild fish or shellfish.
Vessels range in size from small owner-operator boats that fish inshore waters or pot for lobster, to large vessels that carry 40 crew and fish as far as the Antarctic Ocean or North Atlantic Sea.
Whatever the size of the vessel, Seafood ITO can assist training for people who live and work on the open sea.
