Processing Sector

Seafood ITO training could help you move up the production line, from Fish Trimmer to Seafood Production Manager.

What happens after the fishermen catch the fish and bring it to shore? Processing is all about the next part of the story - whether its GreenshellTM mussels or fish fingers, somebody has to prepare the produce for sale.

New Zealand is home to some of the world's champion fish filleters and shellfish shuckers. These skills are honed by practice, often on the job in a processing role.

The Processing Sector holds a wide range of career opportunities, from Filleter and Trimmer, to Quality Assurance Manager and Factory Manager.  Seafood ITO can assist in training opportunities that may see you start at one end of the process line, and move up it into a management role.
